Dr. Kimel and Dr. Sliva are able to provide expert testimony that explains how relevant psychological issues may apply to a particular case. They have developed expertise as expert witnesses in autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

School Consultation
We are happy to provide school consultation services to advocate for the children, teens, and young adults we see. We are committed to lifelong advocacy for the families we work with, often coordinating with teachers, educational advocates, and other professionals involved in their life.
Our psychologists often accompany parents to Individualized Education Program (IEP), Advanced Learning Plan (ALP), or 504-Plan meetings. We review school documents and help parents learn to advocate for their child's unique academic and social/emotional learning needs. We also work with schools to find strategies and solutions to support our clients' strengths and challenges in school. Our aim is to encourage communication and collaboration to help children receive effective support services and accommodations individualized to their needs.
Public Speaking
At KPS, we value education, acceptance, and advocacy. Our psychologists are open to one-on-one consultation or larger presentations at various community events and public speaking engagements on a range of topics related to neurodiversity, mental health and wellness, intersectionality, and more.
Additionally, we enjoy collaborating and coordinating with other organizations in Colorado who share our values and serve our clients in other ways. Please reach out if you would like to connect with us about collaboration opportunities!
