Insurance

Health First Colorado (Medicaid)

We are able to accept Health First Colorado (Medicaid) for therapy and evaluations only when there is a concern for autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, prenatal substance exposure, certain genetic and/or neurological conditions, and traumatic brain injury. Please note, we are not a behavioral health Medicaid provider, which means we are unable to bill for conditions not listed above. By law, we are not able to bill out-of-pocket fees for any clients with Medicaid.

Other Private Insurance

Although we are not paneled with other private insurance companies, we are happy to provide a bill for services that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Please note, insurance companies vary widely in the types of services they will cover.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost. Under the law, health care organizations need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. 

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care organization gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care organization, and any other organization you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

Fees

Therapy & Consultation Rates

We charge a standard fee of $195 per hour for individual therapy, family therapy, and non-forensic consultation.

Evaluation Packages

Our fee structure for either a Comprehensive or Targeted Evaluation is determined based on the number of hours required to fully complete the evaluation. This includes test administration, interviewing, scoring, report writing, consulting with schools or other providers, feedback, and one additional follow up meeting.

 

Comprehensive Evaluation: $2500-$6000 (depends on type and level of assessment needed)

IQ Testing alone (WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, or WAIS-IV): $600

Basic Academic Achievement Testing alone (WJ-IV or WIAT-IV): $700

 

Note: Fees listed here are typical estimates. The actual fee, which would be set when you schedule your appointment, could vary depending on the specific details of your case. We are happy to provide you with a cost estimate once we have completed a phone intake.

Payment Options

We accept most major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. 

 

We are also able to accept checks, money orders, and Zelle payments.  Please note, for evaluations we are pleased to offer a discounted rate for clients who pay via check or Zelle.

We can work together to develop a payment plan on an individual basis if needed.
