Pediatric Neuropsychologist or Child Assessment Psychologist

About the Role:


Kimel Psychological Services (KPS) is looking for a licensed (or license-eligible) psychologist to join our team. This position focuses on psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and young adults—many with developmental disabilities, learning disorders, ADHD, autism, and mood challenges. There may also be opportunities to provide therapy if desired.
You’ll conduct evaluations to help families, schools, and other providers better understand a child’s strengths and challenges. We work with people ages 1 through adulthood, but different clinicians focus on different age groups. Most assessments are scheduled in the morning and can be done 1–2 days a week. Writing and scoring can be done from home.

We accept private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, Aetna, Denver Health Medicaid, and referrals from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
 

What You'll Do: 

  • Provide high-quality evaluations using tools like the ADOS-2, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, and more

  • Write clear and timely reports (drafts due 10 days after testing)

  • Conduct parent interviews and feedback sessions

  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings

  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records

  • Optional therapy work with children or adults

  • Supervise graduate students (if interested)
     

What We're Looking For: 

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, school, neuropsych, or educational psychology

  • Licensed in Colorado (or eligible); must qualify to bill Medicaid

  • Experience with autism and developmental disability evaluations

  • Familiarity with school systems and special education (IEP/504 plans)

  • Strong communication and report writing skills

  • Culturally responsive and inclusive clinical approach

  • Comfortable with technology and EHR systems

  • Must not currently be in private practice

  • Friendly, reliable, collaborative, and grounded
     

What We Offer: 

  • Salary: $90,000–$115,000/year (based on experience, caseload, and supervision roles)

  • Schedule: 1–2 testing days/week (9am–3pm), with flexible writing time

  • Employment: W-2 employee, not contractor
