Hello! My name is Stas, and I’m from Louisville, Colorado. I’m a third-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the University of Denver.

I learned about Kimel Psychological Services through my program and was drawn to the opportunity to support clients in both English and Spanish. I’m especially interested in using my Spanish-speaking background to provide culturally responsive mental health services.

Previously, I’ve worked with neurodiverse students in public school settings, where I was involved in both psychoeducational evaluations and service delivery. I also gained experience at the University of Denver’s Psychoeducational Clinic. These roles, along with my dissertation research on learning and pedagogy, have deepened my interest in making psychological services more inclusive and attuned to each individual’s cultural and educational context. At Kimel, I’m excited to continue growing as a clinician and contribute meaningfully to the team’s work.
