Hi, my name is Krishna Cousins (she/her). I'm a third-year student in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, where I earned my master's degree in 2024. My clinical background has involved working bilingually (in English and Spanish) with children of all ages, families, trauma, and harm-reduction informed therapy. My particular interest is in working with adolescents and their families from culturally diverse backgrounds. I also do assessments with clients of all ages. I take a person-centered and systems-based approach and encourage clients to show up authentically to sessions and strive to support them in establishing community connections. I am also excited to be delivering more assessment services for autistic individuals and individuals with other diverse and sometimes stigmatized diagnoses to help harness individual and community support.

 

I was born in Washington DC and in my free time I love long-distance running and tending to my numerous house plants.
