Dr. Priscilla Armstrong

Hi my name is Dr. Priscilla Armstrong. I am bilingual Spanish-speaking, Board Certified Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist. I provide neuropsychological assessments for individuals across the lifespan. My specialties include assessments for ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and dementia. Additionally, neurocognitive assessments for individuals with epilepsy, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, metabolic disorders, Parkinson’s Disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medical disorders that affect cognitive and behavioral functioning.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), my Master’s in Counseling from the University of Miami, and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. I then completed my Internship in Clinical Psychology at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, and also completed a Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at St. Jude Medical Center Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury Center, Fullerton, California. Prior to joining our practice, I was the Director of Pediatrics at my own group practice in Fullerton, California for 14 years. I was also on medical staff and worked with children diagnosed with medical conditions at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange, California for 10 years. I also worked with Kaiser Permanente for over 15 years conducting neuropsychological evaluations for individuals with medical conditions affecting cognitive functioning.

 

My clinical experiences also include working with children and adults with dementia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, autism, and ADHD. I also have experience supervising Externs, Interns, and Ph.D./Psy.D. psychology graduate students working towards obtaining their professional licensure.

 

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. As new residents to Colorado, We are all enjoying exploring the outdoor activities and fun things the area has to offer
