My name is Bailey Meseck, and I am in the final year of my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver. I am currently completing my internship here at Kimel Psychological Services under the direct supervision of Dr. Lila Kimel. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. I then worked doing applied behavioral analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician in a clinic setting for three and a half years. I assisted children with developmental disabilities in building their adaptive living skills to help them become more independent. I have many years of experience working with children, youth, and their families in various settings. I currently work in a residential facility for children and adolescents with mood and anxiety disorders including PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, and ODD, teaching therapy skills groups and providing individualized check-ins to assist patients with de-escalation techniques. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, photography, baking, and spending time with my friends and family.
