Hello! My name is Maggie Duffy and I am a second-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, serving as an extern at Kimel Psychological Services, where I support with psychological assessments, provide individual therapy, and co-facilitate social skills groups.

I am from Columbus, Ohio and earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Ohio State University. My past clinical experiences include providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders at the residential level and outpatient services to adults. In my work at Kimel Psychological Services, I am particularly passionate about supporting teens and their families in navigating emotional regulation, building social skills, and developing strategies that help them feel more confident and supported in their daily lives. I also value the role of comprehensive psychological evaluation in helping individuals better understand themselves and in connecting families with meaningful resources and supports. I understand that seeking therapy can be vulnerable, and I strive to create a space that feels safe and collaborative where teens can be themselves.

In my free time I am a long-distance runner and love to train for races, especially marathons and half marathons! I also enjoy hiking, biking, and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors.
