Hello! I'm Alex Rubin (They/Them). I am a fourth-year PhD student in the University of Denver's Child Clinical Psychology program, where I have worked in the Center for Child and Family Psychology providing therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and families. I am currently an extern in the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado. I also conduct research focused broadly on suicide, self-harm, and eating disorders in LGBTQ+ youth. I am particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ young people and their families and have received additional training in affirming clinical work. In my free time I enjoy hiking, video games, and spending time with my cat.
